Deep Breath

You'll never believe everything that has happened since my last post! I'll spare you the craziness, but lets just say that we're FINALLY in a situation that I feel like I can take this on... again. It's been on my mind and I feel like it's something I need to give my attention to. However, I know I can't do this on my own.

All the emails I received have been deleted because I didn't log into that account for over 4 months. I felt overwhelmed for a minute knowing it will be back to square one, but remembering the incredible responses, I know there is a surprising amount of interest out there.

Realistically, we're starting with a blog. Please leave me a comment if you are serious about being a part of it!

Thank you!

Update

The magazine is still in the works. Unfortunately because of personal circumstances, the Jan 01 2009 launch date will not be met. We are working to have it up as soon as possible. Thank you all so much for your support and encouragement. This project is much needed and will continue to go forward. Thank You

"Pearls"

So, the title of "Pearls" is already being used by an Evangelican Womens Magazine (Go figure! It's such a great title!)... so scratch that! We're working on it...

Guidelines for Writing Articles

I'm not going to be too picky, but here are a few guidelines to help you when writing an article for our magazine.

*Remember the Purpose of this Magazine. To Uplift, Edify and Strengthen

*Please keep articles appropriate. (uphold the standards Heavenly Father has set for us.)

*Do not "stray" away from gospel doctrine. (Please do not suggest doctrine contrary to what the scriptures and prophets have taught us).

I will add to this if I find a need to.

I'm sure we won't have problems with this, but I had to put it out there!

Vote for a Magazine Title

We are at the stage of choosing a magazine title! Please participate and vote! The subtitle will be one of the following, "To Edify, Uplift and Strengthen", or "Strive for Exaltation". The subtitle is not set in stone yet... but that will give you an idea of what the whole title will be like. If you have questions about the purpose or intentions of the magazine, please read this post. Thank you for your input and participation!
